Pakistan Rejects “Fake” Reports of Strikes

Government Dismisses Allegations

Pakistan has strongly rejected reports claiming that its military carried out strikes in Afghanistan’s Kunar province, calling the allegations “false” and “baseless.”

According to Beyond Time News, the Ministry of Information stated that no missile or airstrike operation was conducted in the area. Officials described the reports circulating in Afghan media as misleading and lacking credible evidence.

Claims Linked to Propaganda

Authorities said the accusations appear to be part of a broader attempt to create sympathy and divert attention from alleged support for militant groups operating against Pakistan.

The ministry added that such claims often follow a pattern where unverified reports are amplified without proper verification.

No Strike on University, Says Ministry

The statement specifically denied reports about an alleged attack on Sayyed Jamaluddin Afghan University. Officials clarified that Pakistan’s operations, when conducted, are intelligence-based and carefully targeted.

They stressed that no such strike took place and labeled the claims as completely fabricated.

Response to Ongoing Tensions

The development comes amid already strained relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan. Both sides have previously exchanged accusations regarding cross-border militancy.

Pakistan has maintained that any action against militant infrastructure would follow clear procedures and be officially acknowledged.

Regional Situation Remains Sensitive

While reports of clashes and casualties have surfaced from different sources, officials urged caution and emphasized the need to rely on verified information.

The situation in the region remains sensitive, with diplomatic efforts continuing to prevent further escalation.
