Islamabad: The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) and Pakistan Arab Refinery Company (PARCO) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support a nationwide coaching education programme aimed at revitalising hockey in Pakistan through structured grassroots development.
According to Beyond Time News, the partnership is focused on improving coaching standards, expanding professional training, and strengthening the country’s hockey development system at all levels.
Rs100 Million Boost for Coaching and Training
Under the two-year agreement, PARCO will extend Rs100 million in financial support to the PHF.
The funding will be utilised for nationwide coaching courses, professional training of coaches, and broader hockey development initiatives. It will also provide stipends to coaches working within PHF’s structured development framework, helping strengthen continuity in training programmes.
Strengthening the Foundation of Pakistan Hockey
