PIA Restarts Hajj Flights from Faisalabad After Four Years

Hajj flights from Faisalabad have started again after a gap of four years. The first flight left with 150 pilgrims heading to Medina.

According to Beyond Time News, officials and local representatives were present at the airport to see the pilgrims off.

Flight Plan and Numbers

A total of 3,680 pilgrims will travel from Faisalabad to Saudi Arabia through 23 flights by May 19.

PIA will run 15 flights to Medina and 9 to Jeddah. The last flight from Faisalabad is scheduled for May 19.

Arrival in Madina

The first group of pilgrims from Karachi has already reached Madina. Around 155 pilgrims arrived and were welcomed warmly.

According to Beyond Time News, they were greeted with flowers and gifts, creating a memorable start to their journey.

Facilities for Pilgrims

Pilgrims are staying in the Markaziya area of Madina, close to important religious places.

They have also been given NUSUK cards to help with travel and access to services.
