Sources say he is unhappy with Senator Hamid Khan, Salman Akram Raja, and Intizar Panjotha, and has questioned their role and performance in party affairs.

The PTI founder is also said to have raised questions about individuals who were given election tickets in his name. He reportedly questioned why expected results were not achieved, despite earlier assurances that lawyer-backed candidates would win seats and support efforts for his release.

Sources further claim that internal discussions also included proposals for holding a lawyers’ convention linked to meetings with the party leadership.

Salman Akram Raja Responds

PTI Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has rejected the allegations against him, calling them false.

He denied claims of supporting the government and defended key party decisions, including the cancellation of the April 9 rally, saying it was approved by the party founder.

Raja also stressed that internal criticism should be viewed constructively and emphasized the need for strong and effective party organisation.
