ISLAMABAD: Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki reaffirmed the unity of the Muslim Ummah and praised Pakistan’s growing role in promoting regional peace during his address at the 6th International Paigham-e-Islam Conference, according to Beyond Time News.
The conference was held at the Jinnah Convention Centre and brought together leading religious scholars, diplomats, politicians, academicians, and senior government officials.
Message of Unity and Islamic Values
The ambassador began his speech with verses from the Holy Quran and salutations upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). He expressed honor in attending what he called a spiritually significant gathering.
He said the event reflected core Islamic values such as mercy, moderation, coexistence, unity, and peace. Moreover, he stressed that the Muslim world is currently facing serious challenges due to rising tensions and conflicts.

The ambassador explained that Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, continues to promote moderation and reject extremism in all forms.
He added that Saudi Arabia’s role is rooted in its Islamic responsibility as the custodian of Makkah and Madinah, which are the spiritual centers of Muslims worldwide.
In addition, he highlighted Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to strengthen dialogue between nations and support peaceful coexistence.
Praise for Pakistan’s Peace Efforts
The ambassador appreciated Pakistan’s leadership, including Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir. He praised their efforts in promoting peace, fighting terrorism, and supporting regional stability.
He also noted that Pakistan has played a constructive role in supporting dialogue and reducing tensions in the region.
Palestine and Global Muslim Concerns
Furthermore, the ambassador said that the Palestinian issue remains a top priority for Saudi Arabia. He called for collective efforts to achieve a just and lasting solution for all global Muslim concerns.

The ambassador stressed that reverence for Makkah and Madinah remains the strongest bond among Muslims. He described the Two Holy Mosques as the spiritual and ideological center of the Muslim Ummah.
He also highlighted Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts to serve pilgrims and ensure their safety, security, and comfort during Hajj and Umrah.

On regional matters, the ambassador supported a balanced approach that rejects aggression from any side. He criticized actions that escalate tensions and violate sovereignty, calling them threats to regional peace.
He urged all parties to respect international law, avoid conflict, and resolve disputes through dialogue and diplomacy. In addition, he encouraged Iran to adopt a responsible role in regional affairs.
