The Sindh High Court (SHC) has ordered the FIA to investigate the alleged killing of a man in a fake police encounter and submit its report within 15 days.
According to Beyond Time News, the case involves allegations of abduction, ransom demands, illegal detention, and extrajudicial killing.
Allegations Before Court
The petitioner’s lawyer stated that Sakhi ur Rehman was allegedly taken from his North Nazimabad residence by SIU officials.
It was further alleged that Rs2.7 million in cash, bank funds, and vehicles were seized from the family.
Ransom and Detention Claims
The counsel said the victim’s brother, Sajid, was also detained during efforts to arrange ransom payment, while additional money was allegedly withdrawn from his accounts.

The court was informed that Sakhi ur Rehman was later killed in a staged encounter, while a separate drug case was registered against his brother.
