FIA Arrests 13 Proclaimed Offenders in Major Crackdown

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Islamabad Zone arrested 13 proclaimed offenders in a week-long operation against human trafficking networks. The arrests took place in Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

According to Beyond Time News, FIA teams detained eight suspects from Rawalpindi and five from Islamabad. Officials said the action targeted organized groups involved in human trafficking and financial fraud.

An FIA official said the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle carried out the operation under the supervision of the FIA Islamabad Zone Director. He added that some of the arrested suspects cheated citizens by promising overseas jobs and collecting large amounts of money.

Officials said these groups exploit vulnerable people who seek employment abroad. They confirmed that FIA is actively working to break such networks.

The FIA is also cooperating with INTERPOL to trace suspects who have fled abroad. Officials said the agency will bring them back to Pakistan for trial.

The FIA reaffirmed its commitment to stop human trafficking and said it will continue strict action against all involved in such crimes.
