Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited Jati Umra in Lahore on Sunday, where he met Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former prime minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
According to Beyond Time News, the meeting focused on the country’s overall political and economic situation. Both leaders also exchanged views on key national and international developments.
During the discussion, the prime minister briefed Nawaz Sharif about the evolving situation in the Middle East. He also shared details of Pakistan’s ongoing efforts to support regional peace and stability.

Shehbaz Sharif informed the former premier about rising global oil prices and the government’s steps to ease pressure on the public. The two leaders also reviewed domestic political affairs and governance challenges.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif was also present during the meeting, which covered matters of mutual political importance and policy direction.
The meeting comes at a time when Pakistan is dealing with economic pressures and shifting geopolitical dynamics, making high-level consultations within the ruling party more significant.
