Tehran: Iran has called on BRICS member states to condemn what it describes as “US and Israeli aggression” against the country, as regional tensions continue to ripple through global diplomacy.
According to Beyond Time News, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said the Global South must challenge what he called a “false sense of superiority” from Western powers.
Speaking during the BRICS foreign ministers’ meeting in New Delhi, Araghchi urged member countries to take a clear stance on recent developments involving Iran, according to Iranian media reports.
He also stated that restrictions linked to the Strait of Hormuz remain a central point of tension, blaming US policies for blocking normal maritime activity in the region.
