Washington: US President Donald Trump has once again claimed that he prevented a nuclear war between India and Pakistan, stating that the two countries “were going to go nuclear” in his opinion.
According to Beyond the Time News, Trump made the remarks at a news conference marking the one-year anniversary of his second term, touting his administration’s achievements in ending eight conflicts worldwide.
Trump said Pakistan’s prime minister credited him with saving 10 million people, and he repeated his claim that he should have received the Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts.
The White House has listed “brokered peace between India and Pakistan” as one of Trump’s accomplishments in its first year.
