US President Donald Trump has rejected Iran’s latest response to Washington’s proposals aimed at easing tensions in the Middle East. According to Beyond Time News, the response was delivered through Pakistan as part of ongoing diplomatic efforts between Tehran and Washington.
Trump described Iran’s reply as “totally unacceptable” in a post shared on his Truth Social platform. However, he did not reveal specific details about Tehran’s response.
Pakistan Continues Key Mediation Role
Iran formally communicated its position through Pakistan after weeks of diplomatic consultations and backchannel talks.
According to Beyond Time News, Pakistan has remained actively involved in mediation efforts between the United States and Iran since helping broker a ceasefire earlier this year.
Diplomatic sources said Islamabad shared Iran’s response with major international stakeholders involved in the peace process.
The current round of diplomacy mainly focuses on reducing tensions and preventing further escalation in the region.
Iran Says Talks Will Not Mean Surrender
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian reaffirmed Tehran’s firm position, saying negotiations would not mean surrender or retreat.
He stated that Iran would never bow to pressure while still remaining open to dialogue.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said Tehran completed internal consultations before sending its official response.
Netanyahu Demands Nuclear Restrictions
Meanwhile, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu insisted that the conflict cannot fully end unless Iran’s enriched uranium is removed and its nuclear facilities are dismantled.
His comments highlighted the continuing disagreements that remain central to the crisis.
Qatar and Pakistan Increase Diplomatic Coordination
According to Beyond Time News, regional diplomacy has intensified in recent days, with Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani holding discussions with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif about the regional situation and peace efforts.
The Qatari leader recently visited the United States, where he met Vice President JD Vance, senior US official Steve Witkoff, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Diplomatic sources said those meetings focused heavily on the Iran crisis and possible political solutions.
The Qatari prime minister also held separate talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi as mediation efforts continued.

Pakistan and Qatar Support Peace Efforts
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif later confirmed his conversation with the Qatari premier in a statement shared on X.
He said both countries agreed to support efforts aimed at promoting peace, regional stability, and constructive dialogue.
Shehbaz also thanked Qatar’s Amir, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, for supporting Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives.
Crucial Days Ahead for Diplomacy
According to Beyond Time News, diplomatic observers believe the coming days could prove critical for future negotiations between Tehran and Washington.
The increasing diplomatic activity by Pakistan, Qatar, and other regional powers suggests growing international concern that military confrontation alone cannot resolve the crisis.
Analysts believe a political settlement remains the only realistic path to avoid further instability across the Middle East.
