Sindh Plans Cheaper Electricity Through New Provincial System

According to Beyond Time News, the government of Sindh has announced plans to provide cheaper electricity to households and industries through a new provincial transmission and distribution system.

Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah shared the initiative during a meeting at the CM House in Karachi.

Focus on Lower Costs and Better Supply

The provincial government plans to set up a Sindh-run electricity transmission company. Officials expect this system to reduce line losses and improve generation efficiency.

As a result, electricity costs may decrease for both domestic users and industries. The government says this approach will also support economic activity across the province.
