ISLAMABAD, May 09 (APP): Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has urged the nation to remain united and stand firm like a “steel wall” against any challenge. He made these remarks while addressing the nation on the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq and paying tribute to Pakistan’s martyrs.
According to Beyond Time News, the prime minister said the day is a reminder to thank Allah Almighty for His countless blessings. He added that Pakistan remembers its strong response during past challenges and honors those who sacrificed their lives.
Tribute to Martyrs and Armed Forces
Shehbaz Sharif praised the armed forces for their courage and unity in defending the country. He said they worked in full coordination across land, air, sea, and cyber domains, which reflected Pakistan’s strength and readiness.
He also paid tribute to martyrs, their families, and veterans. In addition, he said their sacrifices continue to inspire the nation.
The prime minister emphasized that Pakistan proved it is a peaceful country. However, he stressed that no one can intimidate or weaken it.

Strong Warning Against Aggression
He warned that any aggression against Pakistan would receive a strong and immediate response. He also said the country remains alert and fully committed to protecting its borders and sovereignty.
Moreover, he highlighted ongoing efforts to tackle terrorism and ensure internal stability. He said national unity plays a key role in achieving lasting peace.
Kashmir and Regional Peace Stance
The prime minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s position on Kashmir. He said the issue must be resolved according to UN resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people.
He also stated that Pakistan continues to support peace and stability in the region. At the same time, he said the country will always defend its national interests.

Shehbaz Sharif concluded that Pakistan’s true strength lies in unity, sacrifice, and resilience. He said Marka-e-Haq serves as a symbol of national pride and collective determination.
