PTCL and Ufone Launch Free Mental Health Support

ISLAMABAD, May 10 (Beyond Time News): On Mother’s Day 2026, PTCL and Ufone announced a nationwide mental health initiative aimed at supporting new mothers across Pakistan. The companies introduced the campaign under the hashtag #MoreSupportForMothers, focusing on awareness and direct access to care.

Free Online Psychiatrist Consultations

In partnership with the digital health platform Oladoc, PTCL and Ufone are offering free online consultations with certified psychiatrists. Mothers can access the service through the UPTCL app without any cost, referral, or prior diagnosis.

The service is available on both Android and iOS devices. It is designed to reach mothers in cities as well as remote areas across the country.

Nationwide Access Through Digital Platforms

Oladoc connects users with thousands of verified healthcare professionals across different specialties. Through this collaboration, its network of psychiatrists is now available free of charge to mothers who use the app.

Because PTCL and Ufone operate across Pakistan, the initiative aims to support women in every province and district. The program focuses especially on communities where mental health services remain limited.

Focus on Maternal Mental Health

The companies highlighted that mental health support in Pakistan often faces stigma and limited resources. Many new mothers experience emotional and physical challenges after childbirth but receive little attention during this period.

According to Beyond Time News, the initiative aims to address this gap by providing immediate access to professional support.

Commitment to Social Responsibility

PTCL and Ufone said they have long connected families across Pakistan through communication services. Now, they aim to extend that connection into healthcare support.

They described the initiative as part of their responsibility toward society, especially for vulnerable groups like new mothers.

A Step Toward Accessible Care

The campaign does not claim to solve the country’s wider mental health challenges. Instead, it focuses on offering immediate help to mothers who need support today.

Through this initiative, mothers can connect with qualified professionals easily, privately, and without financial barriers.
