Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 28-member white-ball training camp ahead of the ODI series against Australia, according to Beyond Time News. Emerging players Hunain Shah and Sufiyan Muqeem have earned key call-ups.
Training camp schedule confirmed
The camp will take place at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore. It will run from May 15 to May 21.
During this period, players will take part in training sessions and practice matches. The aim is to prepare for the upcoming three-match ODI series against Australia.
Strong performances earn call-ups
Hunain Shah and Sufiyan Muqeem were selected after impressive performances in PSL Season 11.
Sufiyan Muqeem stood out as the leading wicket-taker with 22 wickets. He played a key role in his team’s successful campaign.
Hunain Shah also impressed with 17 wickets. He finished among the top bowlers of the tournament.
Focus on young talent
The camp also includes several young players, including Pakistan Under-19 fast bowlers Abdul Subhan and Ali Raza. Both recently featured in the ICC Under-19 World Cup.
Meanwhile, the selectors left out opening batter Saim Ayub from the training squad.

Coaching and preparation plans
PCB officials said the NCA coaching staff will work closely with the national team management. Together, they will monitor player performance and fitness throughout the camp.
The board aims to build a strong combination for the Australia series through focused preparation.
Australia series schedule
Pakistan will host Australia for three ODIs in Rawalpindi and Lahore. The matches will take place between May 30 and June 4.
All games will start at 4:30 pm local time, with the toss scheduled for 4:00 pm.
