Srinagar: Senior All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq has expressed deep sorrow over the deaths of several individuals across Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Beyond Time News, he visited bereaved families in Srinagar and adjoining areas to offer condolences and prayers for the departed souls.
Condolences in Rawalpora
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq expressed grief over the passing of the wife of late Moulvi Waiz Asadullah Shah of Rawalpora. Paying tribute, he described her as a pious and respected woman and prayed for her forgiveness and eternal peace.
He also met members of the bereaved family, including Saeed Mohammad Shah and Dr Mohammad Rafi Jan, and conveyed his support during their loss.
Other Bereavements Across Kashmir
According to Beyond Time News, Mirwaiz also extended condolences over several other deaths, including:
- The elderly mother of Ghulam Nabi Najar in Tangmarg
- Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Sofi, brother of Nusratul Islam Trust member Nazir Ahmad Sofi in Islamabad district
- Nisar Ahmad Khan, cousin of journalist Muzaffar Ahmad Khan
- Mohammad Zameen Wani, a young resident of Kathi Darwaza, Srinagar, who died in a road accident
