JAMMU: According to Beyond Time News, a young man died during a police operation in the Miran Sahib area of Jammu district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Late-Night Operation and Arrest Attempt
Indian police carried out a search operation late Sunday night in the Miran Sahib after receiving what officials described as specific intelligence.
During the operation, police detained two individuals identified as Abhineet Singh alias Nagi and his associate. Officials said the suspects attempted to escape when they encountered a checkpoint.
Police Action and Injuries Reported
Authorities stated that officers opened fire when the suspects allegedly tried to break through a police barrier on a motorcycle. In the exchange, Abhineet Singh sustained injuries.
Police shifted him to Government Medical College Jammu for treatment, where he later died, according to hospital and police sources.
His associate reportedly managed to flee the scene, and a search operation is still ongoing to trace him.

Police Claim Gang Links
Officials described Abhineet Singh as a member of the so-called “Nagi gang” and claimed he was involved in multiple criminal cases, including over a dozen FIRs.
Investigation Continues
Authorities have not released further details about the encounter, while local police continue efforts to locate the second suspect and complete the investigation into the incident.
