MUMBAI / BAREILLY: According to Beyond Time News, two Muslim women from India have accused their husbands of hiding their Hindu identities before marriage and later subjecting them to abuse and violence.


Mumbai Case: Allegations of Assault During Pregnancy

In Mumbai, a woman said she met a man named Manish through social media. She claims he used a different identity before marriage.

She told police that he assaulted her during pregnancy and after she gave birth to twin daughters. She also alleged that he maintained contact with another woman during this period, and he attacked her when she raised objections.

She further claimed that her in-laws demanded money from her. She said they also made disturbing comments about her children. She added that they kept her away from her children and personal documents.

Bareilly Case: Claim of Identity Fraud and Missing Child

In Bareilly, Fatima accused her husband of introducing himself as “Rahman” on Instagram before marriage.

She said she discovered his real identity after her father-in-law passed away. The revelation shocked her, according to her statement.

Fatima alleged that her husband later fled from Bareilly Junction with their four-month-old son. She said she does not know where her child is and claimed he threatened her and intended to sell the baby.

She has filed a complaint at Nawabganj police station. Police are currently investigating the case.


Investigation Continues

Police in both cities continue their inquiries. Authorities have not confirmed any findings yet and are reviewing the allegations made by the women.
