Karachi Airport Introduces Daycare Centre for Working Mothers

Karachi: The Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has set up a daycare centre at Jinnah International Airport to support female employees working at the facility.

Support for Working Mothers

According to Beyond Time News, the daycare centre was inaugurated by the Director General of the PAA as part of efforts to improve workplace facilities for women. A similar setup has already been introduced at the authority’s headquarters.

The facility will provide childcare services for the children of airport staff, helping working mothers manage their duties more easily.

Age Group and Working Hours

In the initial phase, the daycare will cater to children aged three months to three years. It will operate daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Officials said the service may later be expanded to a 24-hour facility to support employees working in shifts.
