Model Town Police in Lahore have arrested a gang involved in honey trap and blackmail cases, officials confirmed.
According to police, the group used social media to target victims. Male members first contacted individuals online and later connected them with female accomplices.
How the Gang Operated
Police said the women would lure victims to specific locations, where they were allegedly filmed in compromising situations. The footage was then used for blackmail.
Victims were reportedly threatened with exposure unless they paid large sums of money, either in cash or via online transfers.
Recent Case and Arrests
Authorities said the gang recently targeted a man named Ashiq in the Kahna area and extorted money from him through digital transactions.
The arrested suspects include Zeeshan, Mudassir, Sumaira, and Noreen.

Investigation Underway
Police said further investigations are ongoing to identify additional members of the gang and other possible victims.
Officials reiterated that action against such criminal networks will continue to ensure public safety.
