Makkah: 66% Pakistani Government Pilgrims Reach Saudi Arabia

The Hajj 2026 operation for Pakistani pilgrims is progressing smoothly as the majority of government-sponsored pilgrims have already reached Saudi Arabia, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.

In Makkah, the ministry confirmed that 78,929 Pakistani pilgrims under the Government Hajj Scheme have arrived in the Holy Land so far. This accounts for 66% of the total government quota. The remaining 39,905 pilgrims are now departing in line with the scheduled flight plan.

Officials said the 34-day flight operation has entered its final stage, with only eight days left. The last Hajj flight from Pakistan is scheduled for May 21, marking the completion of the pre-Hajj travel phase.

So far, authorities have operated 313 flights out of a total 468. These include both Jeddah and Madinah routes. The ministry said pilgrims continue to move between the two holy cities as part of their journey.
