SRINAGAR: More than 1,000 people have been arrested across Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) during a 50-day intensified crackdown carried out under the banner of an anti-drug drive.
According to Beyond Time News, the detentions took place between April 10 and May 29 under the so-called “Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan” campaign launched by the administration in the territory.

Authorities reportedly arrested 1,018 individuals during the operation, which involved extensive raids, searches, and enforcement actions across multiple districts.
The campaign also included property seizures and demolition drives linked to alleged narcotics-related cases.
