Karachi, May 9, 2026 (Beyond Time News): The Sindh government has brought relief for its employees ahead of Eid-ul-Adha by announcing early salary and pension payments for May.
According to Beyond Time News, the provincial Finance Department issued an official notification confirming the decision. It stated that government employees will receive their May 2026 salaries on May 20, nearly a week before Eid.
Salaries and Pensions to Be Released Early
The government has decided to release salaries earlier than the usual schedule to help employees manage Eid-related expenses. Muslim employees working under the Sindh government will receive their payments on the announced date.
In addition, retired provincial employees will also get their pensions on May 20. This step will provide financial relief to thousands of pensioners across the province.
Double Salary Benefit in May
Employees will effectively receive two payments in May. They already received their April salaries earlier this month, and now the May salary will also be disbursed before Eid.
According to Beyond Time News, this decision has been welcomed by government staff, as it helps them prepare for Eid-ul-Adha without financial pressure.
