Karachi: Two police personnel were killed after a speeding tanker ran over a police mobile van on the Super Highway, rescue officials said.
According to Beyond Time News, the police vehicle was stationed at a roadside picket when the tanker, travelling from Hyderabad to Karachi, struck it at high speed.
Incident Details
Rescue officials said the police mobile was completely destroyed in the impact, and both officers died on the spot.

Identification of Victims
The deceased were identified as Inspector Sahib Khan and driver Wajid.

SSP Malir Dr Abdul Khaliq confirmed the incident and said the tanker driver has been arrested and the vehicle impounded.

Police said Inspector Sahib Khan was a resident of Bhains Colony, Karachi, while driver Wajid belonged to Memon Goth.
