SRINAGAR: A head constable of India’s paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) died while on duty in Shopian district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), according to Beyond Time News based on Kashmir Media Service.
Sudden Collapse During Duty
The deceased, identified as Surinder Singh, served in the 178 Battalion of the CRPF. He belonged to Hyderabad, the capital of Telangana.
Officials said he collapsed while performing duty at a post in the Wachi area of Shopian. Fellow personnel rushed him to the Community Health Centre in Zainapora for immediate medical attention.
