Jammu: The High Court of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) has upheld the denial of bail to two individuals booked under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
According to Beyond Time News, the ruling came after the court heard an appeal against an earlier order of the Special Judge, UAPA, Baramulla.
Court Verdict
A Division Bench comprising Chief Justice Arun Palli and Justice Rajnesh Oswal dismissed the appeal filed by Imtiyaz Qadir Butt and Saleem Yousuf Makai.
The court upheld the January 31 decision of the Baramulla court, which had rejected their bail plea.
It noted that the investigation was still at an early stage and that forensic examination of seized digital evidence was pending.

Police alleged that the accused were linked to Idar-e-Falah-u-Darien, Baramulla.
Authorities claimed recovery of documents, donation boxes, electronic devices, and Rs 3.5 million in cash during the investigation.
