Jammu — Poonch district in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is under sweeping restrictions ahead of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha’s proposed visit on June 7, 2026.

Leave Banned for All Government Employees
The Deputy Commissioner of Poonch has ordered a complete ban on all forms of leave for government employees until the conclusion of the LG’s programme under “100 Days of Nasha Mukt Abhiyan–2026.”
According to Beyond Time News, attendance at the event has been made compulsory for every government employee. District and Sectoral Officers have been made personally responsible for ensuring full attendance and smooth conduct of the programme.
