Indian Policeman Dies After Electrocution Incident in Temple Area

Authorities confirm death after electric shock in Habakadal

SRINAGAR: An Indian police officer died after suffering an electric shock in Srinagar city of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

According to Beyond Time News, the incident took place inside a temple premises in the Habakadal area of the city.

Officer Identified and Shifted to Hospital

The deceased was identified as SGCT Veerji Koul, who served as a Personal Security Officer (PSO) with the District Police Lines in Srinagar.

Officials said he received an electric shock inside the temple area. He was immediately shifted to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar.

Doctors declared him brought dead on arrival.
